Newmans Joinery can design, construct and fit all types of stairs whatever your access needs. We can work from drawings supplied by you or your architect, or we can measure up and design the staircase ourselves, ensuring it meets all current building regulations.
Although we no longer ‘turn’ our own spindles and newel posts, we have a number of contractors who carry this out for us ensuring we can replicate existing mouldings to keep the stairs as authentic or as unique as wanted.
We can provide a number of different handrail profiles and work with a range of materials including including glass and metal balustrades. We can discuss your options for wood from a range of oaks, softwoods and hardwoods according to the finish you desire. Or, for a more cost efficient option, we also work with MDF treads and risers, preparing them so they are ready for carpet.
